Dr Ben Davari
Being a country town GP is Ben’s dream come true. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest and alot of experience in skin cancer detection and treatment, skin surgery, minor operations and also complicated medical problems in elderly patients. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and little girls, car racing, four wheel driving and DIYs.
Dr Bruce Maybloom
MBBS, MPH, MBA, BN, FPAA
Bruce is married with 2 older teenage children. He started his early career as a commercial and medical photographer after graduating from Sydney school of arts. Over the years he has had career changes leading him into children’s critical care nursing, health service management and consultancy both in Australia and overseas. Bruce discovered his passion for medicine and decide to study at Bond University and then completed his hospital doctoring at Mater Mothers as well as The QLD Children’s Hospital.
Bruce has a keen Interest in integrative medicine and takes a holistic approach to patient care. He is certified in Reproductive and Sexual health from Family planning Australia and prides himself in this field of helping people who struggle with fertility. He is also specially trained to do the implanon and IUD (Mirena) insertion and removals. Other interests include adolescent, children and men’s health and sexual health.
Dr Maria Landagan
Maria enjoys being a small town GP. She has special interests in women’s health, antenatal care, diabetes and chronic health conditions.
Jenna is our registered nurse with experience as a general practice and fertility nurse. Jenna enjoys her role as our practice nurse and loves being part of the DMC team providing great healthcare for the community. When Jenna is not at work her greatest joy is spending time with her family especially her husband and young children.
Merryl has more than 25 years of calm, grounded experience in counselling for all ages. She offers a compassionate, non – judgemental space to support and explore the range of life events and experiences. Merryl has a special interest in helping people who feel stuck in their lives to find meaning; with their desire to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be; to achieve their goals. For the past 9 years at Dayboro Medical Centre, she has worked with people experiencing adjustment disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Loss and Grief. Merryl is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, a range of other focused psychological strategies, and organizational psychology.
Clinical Psychologist - BPsychSc (Hons), MclinPsych
Nichole is committed to providing a warm and understanding environment as well as tailored evidence based psychological treatment. Nichole works with both children and adults and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and social skills deficits. Nichole is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Nichole bulk bills her patients.
Dr Bronwyn Massavelli
Clinical Psychologist - BPsychSc (Hons1), MClinPsych, PhD
Dr Bronwyn Massavelli is a registered psychologist and Medicare provider. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, fellow of the Australian college of clinical psychologists, and a member of both the Psychology and Ageing interest group and Psychologist for the promotion of Animal Welfare Interest group. Bronwyn completed her training through the university of QLD. She holds a strong background in her research and believes that maintain a clinical and research balance is important. She is dedicated to providing tailored evidence based on psychological interventions that are informed by assessment professional development and based on collaborative working relationships. Bronwyn believes that a strong and warm working relationship is the key contributing aspect for positive therapeutic change in line of providing evidence based practice and care. Bronwyn has special interest in the areas of, Human animal bond, the benefits of pets and companion animals, older adults, geriatrics, grief and loss related to pet loss. She is an accredited Triple P Provider and provides skills within cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy frameworks as well as motivational interviewing and some acceptance and commitment therapy. Bronwyn works well with people over 18 and older adults.
Chronic Care Nurse
Rebecca is an EN and is our Chronic Care Nurse. She specialises in patient chronic disease management from care plans, for eligible patients to access allied health, through to health assessments and management of DVA patient care. Bec can help sort out any needs you may have regarding your care and what services you may be able to access.
Kate is our newest member to the family. She comes to us with years of corporate business experience who moved to Dayboro for a quieter life with her hubby and her horses.
